The Prince Maximillian Hotel
Originally built in the late 19th Century, the Hotel Max was burnt to the ground and rebuilt in the 1930’s. The interior scheme is inspired by the Art Deco details of the building. Key design elements feature a striking herringbone tile pattern, round mirrors, deco lighting and bistro furniture originally designed in the 1930’s. A playful carpet design pays homage to old-school pubs.
“Mr Mitchell helped us take a 1930's icon building and redressed it to meet a contemporary 21st Century audience, while being true to the deco origins.”
